Events & School Visits

Jane is happy to visit schools and youth clubs  to read from the book, and talk about TV directing and writing for books, theatre and television. To arrange a visit, please contact info@hattorihachi.com

She can give a variety of talks as well as book signing sessions.  To date she has run writing, creative thinking and visualisation classes for years 7, 8 and 9 and has also taught screenwriting and TV production to A level Media and year 12 BTEC students.

Jane is now represented on the Authors Abroad website and teaches on the Accelerated Writer Programme. Her visit to Chandler Junior School earned positive feedback from head, Tim Burgess -

'We have had a lot of visiting authors and Jane was undoubtedly the best so far. She not only engaged the children but gave them the tools for success. The standard of writing they achieved was outstanding. We can't wait to have her back!'
